At Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, the Fine Arts are more than classes, they are a space where creativity, confidence, and sisterhood come to life.
Whether students are picking up an instrument for the first time, finding their voice on stage, or expressing themselves through visual design, every girl is encouraged to explore, grow, and create. With a wide range of honors-level courses and no prior experience required, our program meets students where they are, and helps them discover where they can go.
Through the arts, our students develop discipline, collaboration, and self-expression. They build skills and confidence that last far beyond the classroom.

Vocal Music is a dynamic, multi-year program designed for students who want to grow as confident, expressive singers and well-rounded musicians. Students may enroll in Vocal 1–4, allowing for a continuous four-year progression of skill development and artistic achievement. At the heart of the curriculum are three essential pillars: healthy vocal production, a thorough understanding of pitch, and a comprehensive study of rhythm—all of which lead to strong music-reading ability. Students develop these skills through engaging, hands-on instruction and ensemble singing in unison as well as in two- and three-part harmony.
All vocal students are members of the Concert Choir, the school’s premier choral ensemble. The Concert Choir performs in the beloved Christmas and Spring Concerts and plays a central role in the musical life of the school community. Students also have a wide range of performance opportunities, including school liturgies, televised Masses, the annual school musical, and participation in the Opera Philadelphia Outreach Program.
For those seeking additional challenges, students are encouraged to audition for the All-Catholic Chorus, a prestigious honor that brings together talented singers from across the region.
Whether you are an experienced vocalist or just beginning your musical journey, Vocal Music offers a supportive and inspiring environment where your voice can grow, your confidence can flourish, and your love of music can thrive.
