1940s Gertrude Nelson Kennedy '48 reports that her daughter, Eileen Nelson died on April 27, 2025. Please keep her family in your prayers.
1950s Patricia Keck Bridge '59 has been widowed since 1998, her husband was a retired Navy Chief. She has 4 Children, 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Caroline Runzer Dixon '58 "I have 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. The children range from 1 month to 15 years old. 2 attend Archbishop Wood High School and 10 attend St. Albert the Great." Angela Chiodo Duffy '55 celebrated her 65th wedding anniversary with seven children, their spouses and her 17 grandchildren. Nora Testa Dwyer '58 "My dearest memories are of the glee club and fellow singers and Sr. Rose Magdelan, '58." Marlene Gallagher Frank '59 moved to MN 47 years ago and still misses the East coast. Her and her husband are grandparents to seven and great grandparents to six. Elizabeth Lee Gallagher '56 "I am still living, thanks to God almighty." Patrice Spellman Irwin '52 is mother of seven, grandmom of 26 and will welcome her 13th great grandchild in April. Loreta Jordan, SND '55 "I am so proud of LF - standing strong all these decades." Constance Matt Louderback '57 "After 65 years of marriage, my husband Peter went to the Lord." Loretta Bowers Magerman '55 and her husband Phil have been married for 58 years with 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. They moved back to Philadelphia. Both active and in good health. Barbara D'Iorio Martino '56 is the grandmother of thirteen and also has two great grandchildren. Active in parish evangelization, board emerita Chestnut Hill College. Member Papal Foundation, Order of Malta and Order of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Anne Speitel McCann '51 "My sister, Helene Speitel Spause, '55 , passed away on 2/05/2025 at 87. "May she rest in peace." She was a nurse having graduated from Misericordia Nursing School in 1958. Dolores Foley McDonnell '58 and her husband Robert were married 56 years, before he passed away in October 2024. "My two children are a big help." Laura Dean Phelan '55 "We have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. My husband passed away 9 years ago." Barbara Short Rowan '57 and her husband live in Avalon, NJ. Both require help with physical activity. Catherine Desiderio Testa '54 has been blessed with 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Marie Engel Thompson '58 is celebrating 64 years of marriage on January 20, 2026. Elizabeth Boyle Trusdell '56 just welcomed her third great grandson, Leo. Carter and Sawyer were born in 2024.

Marie Curran Conway '68 and her husband continue to enjoy their Florida lifestyle, Phillies spring training in Clearwater, and traveling. They are doing their third Disney Alaska Cruise and still young at heart! Suzanne Turcich Corcoran '63 's son Kevin was promoted in the US Navy and her daughter Kathleen is managing director at PNC. Mary Colette Lehner Della Guardia '66 "Our first grandchild graduated in June from University of South Carolina. Another will graduate this June from Auburn. We are so blessed!" Margaret Pearce Dopke '61 "I just want to say hello to my fellow 1961 graduates." Kathleen Wilhelm Doughty '69 is enjoying life with her husband. They will be married 25 years in June 2026. Mary Weiss Fee '61 and Frank have moved to Riddle Village Retirement community and are enjoying life here very much! Sister Catherine Glackin, IHM '64 moved back to Philadelphia in August. Patricia Gavaghan Gozdan '61 "Bob and I are married 59 years. We are healthy and so thankful for that. I love to swim and take walks. Our children and grandchildren are all healthy and happy - we are so blessed." Virginia Gordon Griffiths '67 "I am thrilled to be a great grandmother twice. Two of my grandchildren will be married in 2026. My youngest grandson is on scholarhship at Notre Dame. I love them all!" Blanche Goffredo Haughton '67 "I am happily retired from teaching 30 years Anatomy and AP Bio at Mt. St. Joseph Academy. Enjoying 4 sons and 5 grandkids. My oldest granddaughter Lily is playing Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof in Arlington, VA." Claire DiNapoli Lewis '62 "Married to Thom for 58 years and lived in PA, Ohio, Long Island, Virginia, Texas and retired to North Carolina 21 years ago. Our daughter and husband live in Raleigh, NC. Our grandson Wade graduates in 2026 with a masters in Accounting; Our grandson Anderson is a junior at University of Alabama with plans to attend law school." They have future plans to curise the Nile River. Yolanda Abreu Bumarch '75 "My husband Tony and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Cheryl Handy '77 was elected VP of San Antonio Ethnic Art Society to advance African American Black and African Diaspora Arts and Artists in the San Antonio, TX area. Selina Hughes Hawkins '75 "Mother of 3, grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 1." Patricia Hunt '74 retired from the Free Library of Philadelphia after 44 years of service Shirley Painter Kennedy '76 "Widowed 5 years ago. Have a beautiful granddaughter who is class of 2027 and 2 wonderful grandsons" Deborah McAllister MacNichol '73 "Married 41 yrs; 2 children, 4 grandchildren; 1st great-grandson due January, 2026. Retired!" Barbara Scheurer McKnight '70 "My grandson Christopher McKnight graduated from LaSalle College HS and is attending Misericordia University." Virginia Lee Hahn- Mitchell '73 "My daughter Stephanie will complete her three year teaching assignment in Malaysia and will move to Laos in September." Miriam Perera '76 retried after 48 years of service in the healthcare industry mostly in Human Resource Managment. Sue Mehl Reiley '75 and her husband Petter will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in April. Soon after they married, the military relocated them to Texas, where they stayed. Sue is a financial consultant helping families reach their goals. They have two sons and one incredible granddaughter. Maureen Dixon Sullivan '75 recently retired from teaching. Teresa Tobin '70 has oficially retired from being a podiatrist! She still has her nursing license, which she has held for 53 years. Teresa and Ira have six grandchildren and all are well! Susan McHugh Wack '73 and her husband Bill have been married 48 years and have two grandsons, 13 and 11.
1980s Teresa Doyle '82 "Fond memories with amazing friends!" Tracey Kallas Miles '81 has been married to Tom for fourty years. They live in Ambler, PA and own their own care management company. Their son Justin is a teacher in the Philadelphia School District. Diane Robinson Vicknair '85 has recently celebrated her 34th wedding anniversary and has been living in Lancaster County for about 25 years. If you're ever in Lititz stop in at Wilbur Chocolate and say Hi! Her son, Chuck and his wife, Jess Krause '09, just celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary."
1990s Janene Hoover Booker '94 moved to Washington State in 2024; married David Booker in February 2025. Heather McCluskey Slawinski '90 "I am married and have a 10 year old son with my husband. I also have a 32 year old son who is married with 2 kids. My 10 year old is an uncle and hubby and I are proud Gigi & Papa to 1 boy Leo-6 and 1 girl Faye-3."
2000s Esther McCrea Jones '08 is celebrating 13 years of employment with the City of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Department. Gianna Turino '19 "I gradatued from LaSalle University with B.S. in Nursing. I currently work at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in the P.I.C.U." Amanda Fromenko Yoa '04 lives in Cinnaminson, NJ with her husband Joey and two children. Amanda is a Speaker, Content Creator and Podcast Host of the 3x award winning show, Unzipped with Amanda Yoa. Her and her husband also own a business, The Fresh Works of Port Richmond since 2011.
