Celebrating Our 2025–26 Sentinel Student-Athletes
Congratulations to the Sentinels of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls on an incredible 2025–26 athletic season!
Throughout the year, our student-athletes represented Little Flower with determination, teamwork, leadership, and school pride both on and off the field. From exciting victories and championship moments to personal milestones and team accomplishments, this season showcased the strength and spirit of Sentinel Athletics.
This year brought many exciting highlights across our athletic programs, including:
- Multiple All-Catholic honors earned across Cross Country, Tennis, Flag Football, and Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field
- Several new school records set in Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field events
- Strong postseason and league competition performances across multiple sports
- Continued growth and success in both varsity and junior varsity programs
- Recognition of student-athletes for excellence in leadership, teamwork, academics, sportsmanship, and athletic achievement
At our annual Athletic Banquet, Little Flower proudly celebrated student-athletes from every team with awards recognizing MVPs, Coaches Award recipients, Scholar Athletes, Rookie of the Year honorees, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, and additional sport-specific achievements.
The 2025–26 season also showcased the continued strength of Little Flower Track & Field programs, where athletes not only earned All-Catholic recognition but also broke multiple school records during both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Congratulations to all of our Sentinel student-athletes on an incredible 2025–26 season! We are proud of your accomplishments in competition, in the classroom, and throughout our school community. Special congratulations to this year’s recipient of the 2026 St. Therese Student-Athlete of the Year Award for exemplifying leadership, dedication, academic excellence, and Sentinel pride.Thank you to our coaches, families, alumnae, fans, and supporters for making the 2025–26 athletic season so memorable. Your encouragement and support continue to inspire our student-athletes every step of the way. Congratulations to all of our Sentinels on an incredible year. We are proud of all you accomplished and look forward to another exciting season ahead!

Thank You, Coach Markos: 36 Years of Dedication

We are especially honored to recognize the remarkable career of Coach Markos Pittaoulis. After 36 seasons leading our girls’ soccer program, Coach Markos leaves behind a legacy that has shaped generations of student-athletes both on and off the field.
Since 1987, Coach Markos has been a constant presence in Little Flower athletics, building a program known for its competitiveness, discipline, and heart. A true players’ coach, he has earned the respect and admiration of countless athletes, always challenging them to be their best while fostering a deep love for the game. Year after year, his teams competed at a high level within the Catholic League, reflecting his commitment, leadership, and passion for the sport.
During this year’s Athletic Banquet, we proudly celebrated Coach Markos’ 36 years of dedication with a special recognition honoring his lasting impact on our school community. His legacy will continue to inspire Sentinels for years to come.
