Who will I shadow during my visit?

Our goal is to help you enjoy your day and make the most of your visit! Your host will be chosen based on the information and interests provided on your form, such as
extra-curricular activities. You will "shadow" one of our 9th or 10th grade students, joining them as they go about their day. You will attend their classes, meet the faculty and staff, and spend time with our students. Parents/guardians can request a student, but requested students who are not Ambassadors may not be able to host. In that event, the parents/guardians will be notified and a new student will be reassigned as host. 

What should I wear?

If your school has a designated uniform, you are required to wear your uniform. If your school does not, you may wear appropriate casual clothing. Please do not wear any ripped clothing, leggings, or clothing with inappropriate images or offensive language.

What do I need to bring?

There is no need to bring anything. A $5 lunch voucher will be provided to you. You are welcome to bring additional money if you would like to visit the Flossie Shop, our school store. It is the perfect time to purchase your LF gear!

How do I schedule a Shadow Day?

The Shadow Program is open to 8th graders and transfer students beginning October 2, 2024. The program is open to 7th graders beginning January 2025. You are invited to schedule a shadow visit any Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday that school is in session. To schedule, please click the button below or call Mrs. Stacy Vivino at 215-455-6900 x1130. Who will notify my school?

Inform your school that you will be visiting Little Flower for the day. On the day of your visit, you will be given a letter to return to your school confirming your attendance.

When should I arrive?

The school day begins at 8 AM. Please arrive by 7:45 AM to meet your student host. Enter through the front entrance on Lycoming Street. You will sign in at the Main Office and be escorted to the Advancement Office. Please bring a copy of your signed photo release form.

When will I be dismissed?

The school day ends at 2:40 PM. You will exit through the Luzerne Street parking lot entrance. We recommend that your parents/guardians arrive by dismissal, and encourage them to enter the parking lot to pick you up. You are also welcome to take any of our SEPTA Tripper buses. The fare is $2.50.
