Little Flower athletes provide a sense of spirit, pride, determination, and competition to the school community. We offer fourteen sports over three seasons:
In order to participate in athletics, students must maintain good grades, display leadership, and show good sportsmanship both on and off the playing field. The Philadelphia Catholic League Code of Conduct and Policy on Hazing and Bullying are included below.
This year Little Flower is welcoming a new Athletic Director, Francesco Sifoni. Francesco, better known as Fran, is a Philadelphia native. In his childhood Francesco attended St.Timothy Grade School in the lower Mayfair section of the city, and graduated in 2004. From there he attend Father Judge High School until his graduation in 2008. Following Fran’s high school graduation he attend Temple University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport and Recreation Management in 2012. Francesco is going on 15 years of employment and service within his parish, he has previously taught eighth grade and physical education, but is primarily a part of the maintenance, holding a current title of Facilities Manager.
Although we are welcoming Francesco into a new position he is has been apart of the Little Flower community since 2017 as a part of the coaching staff for the soccer team. Francesco’s PCL coach debut was in 2014 for Nueman….. His coaching style has always been hands on and his passion is to lead student athletes to success. Fran has always been the type of coach that is patient and will always work just bas hard as his players do. Francesco Sifoni has one goal for the student body of Little Flower, to encourage maximum participation in athletics. Playing a sport is a great way to learn new skills and create new friendships that will last a lifetime.
