Miss Corridoni was born and raised in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. She attended Bishop Shanahan High School. After high school, Miss Corridoni then went to Rosemont College.
Miss Corridoni is in her seventh year teaching Theology at Little Flower and cannot believe how quickly each year passes by. Her favorite memory here at Little Flower was her first Mass. During this year, the mascot was a lion, and the campus minister at the time, Father Joe, started the Mass with the opening song of The Lion King. She remembers the excitement and joy this brought her as she couldn’t help but smile and laugh. Shortly after, Father Joe introduced his lion puppet during the homily. She instantly found out that Little Flower had this contagious joy that she would not find anywhere else. At this moment, Miss Corridoni understood that St. Therese and the will of God brought her here for a reason.
Miss Corridoni discovered that she wanted to pursue teaching during her teenage years, as she had a real awareness of how much she needed the Lord and His goodness. She had a few influential people in her life that encouraged her to chase Heaven, and not the things of the world. As she grew older, she wanted to remind students to do the same. Miss Corridoni wanted to be the inspiring voice that reminded us young souls who we are according to God. Miss Corridoni quotes, “The world tries so hard to tell teenagers who they are; I wanted to remind teenagers who God says they are.”
Outside of Little Flower, Miss Corridoni enjoys spending time with her four young nieces, exploring different hiking paths, and going to concerts. Miss Corridoni also likes spending her summer break traveling any chance that she gets. She especially loves traveling anywhere out west. During her time off she loves to visit and hike in National Parks.
With 2025 coming to an end, Miss Corridoni reflected on her year. She would use the word “fruitful” to describe her 2025! One New Year Resolution Miss Corridoni plans on enforcing in 2026 is arriving at school earlier. Miss Corridoni believes that this year we should challenge ourselves to begin this new year seeking God’s plan for us over our own. She states, “the greatest way we can do this is by spending more time with Jesus in the Eucharist at Mass and in adoration.” Another challenge Miss Corridoni believes we should implement in our lives is to choose joy, especially in the face of joylessness. Never underestimate the impact you can have on someone’s day or even their self-perception.
As Little Flower honors Miss Corridoni as January Faculty of the Month, we would like to thank her for all her contributions to Little Flower. From growing our relationships closer to God and being a great role model for us to follow, we are extremely grateful to have you here at Little Flower.
Little Flower is fortunate to have received new members of our staff throughout the 2025–2026 school year. One of the newest members who works in the Klarich Center for Academic Excellence is Renee Kueny.
Mrs. Kueny was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kueny grew up in the Port Richmond area and attended Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. While attending LF, Kueny said she loved International Café. Kueny went on to say that graduation was her favorite memory as a student at Little Flower. After her time as a student in High School, she went on to attend Arcadia University.
At Little Flower Mrs. Kueny does many different things for the community. Not only does she work in the Klarich Center, she also monitors the school podcast, yearbook, and manages dual enrollment courses for Juniors and Seniors. Mrs. Kueny also teaches LF students how to sew and crochet, and manage the aeroponics towers in the Klarich Center. She adds that, “Being able to build relationships with the students is the best thing ever.” What Kueny loves most about her job is watching students find things that they are good at and enjoy. She enjoys watching the LF students succeed and achieve their goals.
Outside of Little Flower Mrs. Kueny enjoys working out, traveling, reading, and going out to eat. She also likes to attend Phillies games, and goes to the Air Force Reserve once a month. Two things Mrs. Kueny thinks students at Little Flower would be surprised to hear are that she has fifty first cousins and that her favorite place she has ever traveled was Las Vegas, Nevada. Kueny’s favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You. Her favorite television shows are The Office, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Abbott Elementary. Kueny’s favorite genres of music are Alternative and Rock.
Little Flower is very fortunate to have a staff member who works closely with students and helps them find their passion! By ensuring that our Little Flower girls have the things they need to succeed, Mrs. Kueny, our very own Alumna, is mentoring the next generation of leaders. Welcome home Mrs. Kueny!
